Shine Drama Performance

Well done to everyone who took part in the Drama weekend. The performances were fantastic and what fab weather we had for drinks at the interval. A big thank you to Michael Burnie for all his hard work with the children and also thank you to Shaughan Parish who organised the weekend.

If anyone has any friends who would like to come along next Thursday for a fun taster session, please bring them along. Thank you

Shine Summer Term News 2010

Ambra Caserotti has just graduated from Mountview in London and has been signed up by an Agent in London which is brilliant. We wish her all the best in pursuing her performing career.

SHINE ON did brilliantly in the annual Springboard Festival which was held this year at Roedean Theatre in Brighton. Taking part was Jo Fever, Darren Beach, ALi Fever, Jolene Wild, Laura Williams, Charlotte Wiles and Grace Stainer. They came first in their Class and really enjoyed the evening. The next Shine On workshop will be held on the 15th May and we will be baking Cup Cakes!

SHINE DANCE has started a new term with a few new faces which is great. I am so pleased to have Sarah Stainer who has come in as Dance Assistant and is doing a brilliant job at looking after all the parents and pupils , making sure everything runs smoothly for Juliet who takes the Classes. There will be an end of term Dance afternoon. I will let you know the dates asap.

SHINE SINGERS will be starting to record our CD in the next few weeks. The last CD we made was 5 years ago so I thought it was time to work on another one. It will be released before Christmas so that it will make a great Christmas present for friends and family.

We would also like to say a big well done to Laura Loutit and Maddy Clark who have been offered fantastic parts in two shows. Laura Loutit has been offered the part of Louisa in the Sound of Music Tour (see photo below) and Maddy Clark has been offered the girl part in Oliver in the West End (see photo below). Such great news!

Shine Theatre Group now has a facebook page so please become a member. there are lots of photos to look at and if you have any to ad, please do.

Another CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Just to let you all know that MADDY CLARK has just been offered a part in the WEST END for the production of OLIVER!!  Maddy is so excited and happy to be appearing in the West End and starts rehearsal for the production in May.  I will let you know when the show starts so that you can go and see her.

Huge congratulations and this has been a very proud week for Shine!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to let you all know that LAURA LOUTIT has just been offered the part of Louisa in THE SOUND OF MUSIC Tour. She has spent the last week going up and down to London for many auditions and they have just called her today to offer her the part.

She starts rehearsals in London in May and then she will be on tour until December. I will let you know her Tour dates as soon as possible.

Such exciting news for Laura and she is thrilled!!!!!!
