Shine On Group came first in the Hand in hand Class at the Springboard Festival. They sang the song The Climb and the following students took part: Darren Beach, Jo Fever, Jolene Wild, Charlotte Wiles and Alison Fever.

Maddy Clark has been offered a part of one of the girls in OLIVER in the WEST END which is fantastic news. She will start rehearsal in May and then Oliver starts in June. Fantastic news!

Laura Loutit has been offered the role of LOUISA in THE SOUND OF MUSIC Tour which is excellent. Again Laura will start rehearsals in May and begin her Tour in July. Wonderful news!

I will let you know dates for the above asap.

Ambra Caserotti has just graduated from MOUNTVIEW Theatre School in London and hopefully will be signed up by an Agent in the next couple of weeks and we can then look forward to seeing Ambra in the West End or TV or Film or …………….

SOPHIE GRIFFITHS got offered places at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Mountview and Arts Ed. She chose to do a BA in Musical Theatre on the RSAMD’s inaugural course. Her class of 14 have been invited to appear at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in India in October. Fantastic News!!

ELEANOR PALMER - one of my Singing Students - has successfully auditioned for Arts Ed in London and will start this September - Well Done - fantastic achievement!. The Performing Arts school see 1,500 auditions for 45 places. Eleanor begins her term on the 9th September - Have fun!!!

EMMA DEARDEN has finished her year at London School of Musical Theatre and has just been signed up by International Artistes which is fantastic news!! Well done and we wish you lots of love and luck with future work.

MILLY UPTON finished her first year at Laine Theatre Arts and was given two awards for the best Singer and best Drama Student in the 1st Year. Congratulations!

LAURA LOUTIT performed for two weeks in August at the Theatre Royal in Brighton in the professional production of Annie starring Sue Pollard as Miss Hannigan. This was a very good production and well done to Laura for being chosen.

MADDISON CLARK starts her first term at Sylvia Young Theatre School in London this week and we wish her all the best for a successful future up in London.

GRACE STAINER successfully auditioned for the Young Uns Agency which is part of the Sylvia Young Theatre School and Grace will now be considered for all sorts of work within the Theatre profession. Well done - fantastic news!!

AMBRA CASEROTTI enters her last year at Mountview where she will be working on productions for most of the year and then she will be seen by agents who may consider representing her!! Have a great year.

Nicola Bowman

Nicola Bowman, who is one of our younger pupils, played Jane Banks in Mary Poppin’s West End for an 18 month run. Lucy Griffiths, one of our older ex pupils, is now playing Marian on BBC’s television series, Robin Hood. Many have participated in National Youth Music and Youth Music Projects around the country .

Audition News

Huge well done to Ambra Caserotti who succesfully auditioned for the LONDON SCHOOL OF MUSICAL THEATRE and MOUNTIVEW and was offered places at both, starting this September. Ambra decided to go to Mountview and is now in her second term and enjoying every minute.

Milly Upton auditioned for ARTS ED in London and LAINE THEATRE ARTS in Epsom and has been offered a place at both colleges to start September 2008. Milly has decided to go to Laine Theatre Arts. Congratulations!

Huge well done to Emma Dearden who has been cast as Nancy in the forthcoming production of Oliver at the Theatre Royal in Brighton. Emma has also had a recall for GUILDFORD SCHOOL OF ACTING, so we will wait to see how she gets on. Well done to Georgina Larner who is also in this show. The production is April 15th to 19th 2008 .

Chay Lewandowski graduated from The Brit School and is now working at Haven holiday Camp as their Entertainment Officer and he is loving it. Well done !
