Well done to everyone who took part in the shine Dance show yesterday. It really was fantastic and to see so many of you working hard to produce a very professional show - Well done!! There are two further dance lessons before the end of term so please come along next week at your normal times.

Ruth and I would like to say a big well done to everyone who took part in the singing concerts over the last couple of evenings. You all sounded fantastic and we have the recording to prove it which we can listen to in your lessons. We are very proud of you all and we have had some wonderful comments about the quality of the performances - Huge Well Done!!
We will see you all next week for your singing lessons - There are two more before the end of term.

A fabulous night was had by all on Saturday. People arrived for drinks at 7.30pm at the Terrace Bar, followed by a gorgeous dinner cooked by Michele and Lorna who did an amazing job. 51 people sat down to a choice of Sweet Chilli Prawns, Feta Salad, or Watercress Soup , followed by Lamb, Salmon or Stuffed Peppers, finishing off with a choice of Banoffi Pie, Strawberries and Cream, Apple Tart, Cream Filled Meringues, Panacotta with Raspberries or Sticky Toffee Pudding!!
Our Waiter/Waitresses were Jazz, Ali, Laura, Sam, Anna and Jade. They had all just finished their GCSE’s but turned up on the night and were fantastic. They worked very hard serving the tables and washing up in the kitchen, and then singing in the Restaurant. They each performed two songs and we had Love Love Love as our final song in three part harmony. Well done to them all.
Big thank you to Stuart and Jeremy who ran the Terrace Bar and managed not to drink the profits!! Thank you to Anne and Franz who came in and helped clear up with everyone. The profit made for Shine Theatre Group was £1,119.82 which is a fantastic total. Thank you to everyone who came to support Shine. We hope you enjoyed the evening.

Well done to Laura Loutit who has just been offered the part of Becky - an Orphan in a production of ANNIE that is coming to the Theatre Royal , Brighton in August. Fantastic news!
Well done to Maddison Clark who is a member of Shine Theatre Group and auditioned for Sylvia Young Theatre School in London and has been offered a place starting September 2009!. Excellent news.
We wish her every success and happiness at SYTS and will miss her being part of Shine.

Ruth and I are putting on two singing concerts for the parents of the pupils who come to singing lessons at Lodge Cottage. The evenings are as follows:
