New Sites to try

I was directed to http://www.hiddenhousehistories.co.uk today. Looks like an excellent site with a lot of good leads on it for me to try.

I’ve posted some stuff on their message boards to see if I can get any starting points.

What’s this all about then?

I moved into Brooklands about 4 years ago, and since then have discovered very little about the history of the house, the road or the farm it is named after.

So having just completed some major projects I’ve decided to embark on another - a local history research project about New Salts Farm, the farm, the road, my house (Brooklands) and the other houses on the road such as Old Farm Court etc.

The reason for the blog is becasue I believe in the power on the Internet, and am hoping that this will act as a plea for information form anyone who happens to stumble across it.
